Install latest MariaDb🔗
They have changed so much, that it is better to just look at their own guide: Official installation guide
Their website allows you to target specific distros and versions of those distros, and having to create a guide myself based off of the above would take too long and would have to be changed too regularly for me to be able to keep up.
The distros and versions they support, as of the writing of this on 10/08/2023 (That's in the superior dd/mm/yyyy [though, please use yyyy/mm/dd for sorting]), are these:
- Debian
- 11 Bullseye
- 10 Buster
- Sid
- Ubuntu
- 23.04 Lunar
- 22.10 Kinetic
- 22.04 Jammy
- 20.04 Focal
- 18.04 Bionic
- Arch Linux
- CentOS
- Stream
- 7
- Fedora Linux
- Mageia
- openSUSE
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- 7
- 8
- 9
- (haha, kind of like a joke, like Red Hat has become!)
- SUSE Enterprise Linux
I won't get into the MariaDB versions available at the moment, but they definitely support the two latest LTS version at the time of writing (see previously mentioned date).
